Cheerleading tryouts will be held May 5-May 9 from 3:45-6:00PM in the Mercy Gym. Please fill out the forms on the cheerleading webpage before tryouts.  For more information, contact Coach Shaw.

Attention all incoming Mercy students who are interested in taking Drama next year - The OLM Theater Performance class will hold auditions Thursday, May 8th in the auditorium from 3:15-4:00. We especially thank Archbishop Wilton Gregory, the visiting priests, the choir from St. Philip Benizi, Mercy's AMA choir, our guests, the parent volunteers, and everyone who performed, brought food, or wore cultural dress. Thank you to Mrs. DeMello, Fr. Jimmy, Ms. Lambert and all the staff and faculty who helped make this day memorable.

3/18/08 - The middle school girls soccer team defeated Arlington Christian School, 3-0.  This brings their winning streak to 3 games.  No goals have been scored on these ladies so far! The next girls game is at Landmark on Monday, 3/24 at 4:30 pm.

3/18/08 - It's two wins in a row for Boys Golf as they defeated Fellowship Christian yesterday, 194-203. Richard Schrade shot an impressive score of 48. They play again on 3/25.

3/14/08 - Mercy Golf took home its first victory of the season with a win over Ben Franklin Academy, 201-213. Andrew Boone shot a 43.
3/14/08 - Middle School girls soccer won their 2nd game by defeating Mt. Paran 7-0 last night. Their next match is Monday, 3/17 at Arlington at 4:30 PM.
3/14/08 - The Bobcats suffered a tough loss yesterday against Landmark, falling 21-1. The will take on ELCA today at home.

3/13/08 - Mercy tennis played hard but was not able to win any matches against Galloway Wednesday. They look to bounce back at St. Francis next week.
3/12/08 - Middle school boys soccer had its first loss yesterday as they fell to St. Pius, 6-0.  The boys played hard and held their heads high.  Their next game will be at Blessed Trinity on 3/19 at 5 PM.

3/11/08 - The varsity soccer team lost to Mt. Paran 2-0 last night. Jake Lethbridge and Jeremy Kulwicki played great defense throughout. The Bobcats next match is this Saturday at home against Aquinas.

3/11/08 - The Varsity baseball team battled Fellowship last night, but lost 17-1. Their next game is at home Thursday against Landmark.

3/11/08 - The boys golf team played hard but was defeated by Whitefield, 158-196. Richard Schrade led the way, shooting a 38. Christian Fleisch also played well, cutting 10 strokes off his score.

3/11/08 - Girls Varsity soccer lost to Mt. Paran, 4-1.  Catie Palmer scored the goal. They will play Lamar Co. next Tuesday at home.
3/10/08 - The first annual Mom's/Women's Retreat was a great success!  Thank you to the 35 women who joined us for this special inaugural event. We look forward to next year!
3/10/08 - The Bobcats took on a tough Mt. Paran tennis team last week.  Junior Charlie Cortez provided Mercy with a big win, but was defeated overall, 9 - 1. They take on Galloway at home on Wednesday.

[2.6.08] Mercy marked the beginning of Lent with its Ash Wednesday Mass today. Thank you to all the parents and guests who joined our school community in worship.
[2.4.08] The Sophomore Class retreat included a tour of historic Catholic churches in Atlanta. The first stop was at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, then to Sacred Heart. After lunch at the Varsity, the group headed to St. Anthony of Padua and finished up with Our Lady of Lourdes.

Our Lady of Mercy was ranked #1 in diversity, #1 among high schools for students receiving financial aid, and #5 for lowest tuition. You can pick up this issue of the magazine at local newstands around the Metro Atlanta area.
[1.10.08] Our very own principal, Mr. Danny Dorsel, was featured on WSBTV news last weekend for his now famous step routine resulting from a promise he made to the Mercy community if enrollment increased by 10% this year. [12.17.07] The first annual Dad's/Men's Retreat was a great success. Thank you to all who contributed their time and talents to this retreat. It was truly a God-inspired event. The Mercy Mom's/Women's Retreat will be in March 2008.
[12.14.07] Mercy Senior Jacob Bushey moves on in the Kennesaw State University Mathematics Competition. Nearly 2400 students from Georgia public and private schools competed. With an outstanding score which was in the 92nd percentile, Jacob has been invited to compete in the 2nd round which will take place on Feb. 6, 2008. Congratulations!
[12.10.07] Congratulations to Clint Ford and Rebecca Boivin! Clint took 1st place and Rebecca took 2nd place in the Daughters of the American Revolution Essay Contest.  Way to go!

[11.28.07] The International Club raised $257 during its annual bake sale!! Thank you to all of the students and parents who took the time to bake delicious international foods. The money that was raised will be donated to a family for the holidays.

[11.19.07] Thank you to everyone who joined us this weekend for the Fall Fine Arts Festival: A Dickens Christmas Celebration! It was a great night of food, fun, and fellowship showcasing Mercy's talents in all areas of fine arts. Great job to all the student performers and teachers who organized the event!

[11.12.07] The Mercy Boys Cross Country are the Class A State Champions for the 2nd year in a row!  The Girls Cross Country tean took home an impressive 3rd place prize at State.  A BIG congratulations to the Mercy runners and their coaches Mr. Mark Tolcher, Mr. Matt Hofkes, and Mr. Bill Werling.
