Congratulations to the Girls Track and Field team who placed 4th overall at the State Meet this weekend. Megan Malasarte was the State Champion in both the 400m and 800m events.  The girls also placed 3rd and 4th in the 4x100 and 4x400 races and had personal bests in other events. The final results are as follows:

4x100m (Katie Bischoff, Megan Malasarte, Tynese St. Cyr, Jewelian Griffith, D’Arnca Bloodworth, Kristin McClure)—3rd Place

4x400m (Katie Bischoff, Megan Malasarte, Sarah Hohenberger, Yarahi Castillo, Jewelian Griffith,  Kristin McClure)—4th Place

400m (Megan Malasarte)—State Champion

800m (Megan Malasarte)—State Champion, Sarah Hohenberger (3rd Place)

Shot Put (Lauren Wiggins)—Personal Record two straight throws
